Hello, Love the banjo and have been playing since I was twelve. I am a banjoholic and currently have 16 banjos, but I am currently on banjo restriction. (which is a horrible condition) I make my living as a recording artist, workshop instructor and performer. Please visit my website to listen to my music, see many of my banjos, see pix, videos, and there are links to many banjo builders. www.maryzcox.comBest wishes, Mary Z. Cox

THE Mary Z Cox - wow - Like you're songs Mary & amazingly fast playing. Do you have 16 banjo's so that they each have a chance to cool down & draw breath? ;D
If you had no restrictions what would be the 17th?

Hi to Tom, plunknplinkntwang and Mary!
plunknplinkntwag - It's great that you can find style of playing the banjo that suits you, despite having trouble with your hands. That's one thing I enjoy about it - you can always find a style that suits you.
It's cool that your son is playing too. I've been keeping my mam posted on my banjo progress. She's the probably the least musically inclined person I know but she's dying to have a go next time I come and visit!

Hi Ray
Sorry it took me a while to get back to you. I'm not sure of anyone in Northampton, maybe you could try hooking up a webcam and getting together with people that way?
Anyone out their who can help Ray out?

Hi Ray How new are you to clawhammer? I live off J9/10 from the M1 - about 40 minutes drive south, and play clawhammer (ish) I'd be happy to help get you started - depends how good you are already Here my myspace page - www.myspace.com/wodjah - sophie wiggle is my own frailing composition. Roj

Hey I'm Heather
I play the banjo - or a good attempt at it anyway. Really enjoy it and I have a good teacher, though he is 'learning' aswell.
I started a new tune today Coal Creek Mountain - good start to my banjo holiday.
