Hi All, I'm running in the London Marathon next month (without the banjo!) and wondered if anybody fancied sponsoring me. I'm running for the Scientific Exploration Society, who do a lot of good community aid work overseas. Check out their website for more info: www.ses-explore.org/If you feel you can spare a few pence it would be very gratefully received! I have a justgiving site that you can access here: www.justgiving.com/steve-bondMany thanks in advance for any support you guys can give! Cheers Steve

Sorry, I have no idea what this means: Will the money go to "Scientific Exploration Society" or to Steve?

That´s worth at least one karma and a couple of quid (if quid is what I guess)

Quid is a slang term for pound, so a couple of quid is a couple of pounds

I did manage to complete the Marathon, but not in the time or condition I expected.
I got some sort of weird food poisoning on the way back from Ghana on the Friday...both ends uncorked when I got home and I was dragged out of a pool of my own mess to London. Could barely eat a thing on Saturday and still needed immodium on race day. Shouldn't have run and it was bloody stupid, but had charity commitments. First 20 miles were ok, last 6 were an absolute shambles... did 4hrs 25mins - not happy but that will have to do. The running's been a mess since then and I'm just getting myself back together on that front. Thanks to everyone who sponsored me!
