Does anyone have any experiece with this guitar www.eaglemusicshop.com/details1.asp/ProductID/5462/sid/386/ozark-tenor-guitar.htmI'm hoping to get one in a few months time. Any and all reports are of course welcome, but what really concerns me is the quality of the tuners. I REALLY don't like bad quality tuners. I don't see much point in emailing the shop, I mean what are they gonna say 'It's dreadfull, but please buy it anyway, I want another Mercedes' ? Not likely to be objective are they? Having said that Steve Noon seems a good guy, but I can't play before I buy, so I'm soliciting opinions. stay safe folks

I'm interested in this as well - I'm hoping to get one in the next month. There's no harm in contacting the shop themselves. I've dealt with them before and found them to be good people who know instruments. Obviously any answer they give would have a positive spin, but I don't believe they would actually go out to deceive.

Hi guys, A rare log on for me and discovered that you have spoken about Ozark tenor guitar from eagle music. I have just got one too for my birthday. So far it is slow going but can sort of play 'Rising Sun' slowly using chords from Tenor guitar .com.
Danny, I shall bring it along to the folkies weekend.
ok I accept low karma for being such an infrequent visitor. I owe you a pint ( probably several)

Quite the oposite Jimmy Boy
I'd LOVE to play the Ozark when we get together soon, I am VERY seriously considering buying one, probably within the next 3 months. Also you and me will be in a unique position to compare two of PC's cast off's
Should be fun
And the 2nd beer is on me

So far it is slow going but can sort of play 'Rising Sun' slowly using chords from Tenor guitar .com. How are you tuning it? Sometimes tenor guitars play a little easier in tenor banjo tuning. CGDA. Dear Old Dad dis a tenor banjo/tenor guitar workshop a while back: www.archive.org/details/tenor.banjo.and.tenor.guitarMaybe it will make things easier. -Patrick

Hi all, the tuning is CGDA and I am playing open chords on the first five frets. Dear Old Dad speaks about playing closed chords above fifth fret but I have not searched out shapes yet. The tone is mellow with a lovely high voice. however I shall need much practice to do justice this fine instrument.
will keep posts of progress and discoveries.
Jimbob.
