I don't have a secret as such, I just keep tweaking the way I play in order to get the music and the tone I have in my head to come out through my guitar. The thumbpick and fingernails help, but I still don't get the same kind of volume as a bigger guitar.
I live 18 miles north of Manchester. And bloody money doesn't even allow me to travel in to Manchester, which is a £6 return bus journey.
I just went downstairs to play with the tune, and yes I can play Suicide is Painless. I don't have a great arrangement of it, but I can play the tune.
I will keep the tunes coming every so often.
And my collection of headscarves is a good deal smaller than it once was, I somehow managed to lose most of them and now I can't find many good ones, so I now have only a small collection. But I love my hat. That's ma favourite headwear by far.
