hi pete just a few lines as i realy strugel with pc i am still a pen and parer man, i have been playing for about five year mainly bluegrass. banjo is my thing but i also play double bass i CAN SING ALITTLE AFTER A FEW BEERS I HAVE PLAYED IN PUBLIC AND FIND IT A GOOD BUZZ AS THE BASS IS NOW MY MAIN TOOL I NEED TO GO BACK TO MY BANJO AND LEARN SOME NEW STUFF I STRUGGLE WITH FRAILING BUT JUST NEED MORE PRACTICEE THE FOLK AT THE BLACK BULL SEEM OK AND FREINDLY AND ITS ALSO MY LOCAL PUB HOW GOOD IS THAT. HOPE TO SEE YOU IN OCT IF YOU CAN MAKE IT MIK

Know just how you feel about computers Mick! I much prefer a pencil, I know how they work. How about letting us hear you play? Post a bit of video or audio if your not too shy. If like me you aint got a clue how to do it, just borrow a young person from a neighbour , Kids don't even have to think about it, but you will get that oh dear , another dunce , look from them. Try to tolerate that, and give it a go. You will have an audience of folk just like yourself, and we would all enjoy hearing from you. Pete

hi pete i do not know how to send stuff on line . but my mate put me on utube playing at the biddick arts center on a buskers nightwith two of the lads i play with. go to utube and look up mickthedig its a old tune blackberry blossom

pete blackberry blosom gone! do not know how but its gone anyway i canot seem to get it to play but it might just be me try bluegrass plus on you tube a song called wagon wheel its a bit poor but you will see the sort of stuff i like .vidio taken by mobile phone so sound not good and it was bloody freezing ,british summers welther i rely need to do some more banjo so thats why i am looking at frailing but i seem all fingers n thumbs at the moment but hope the guys hear in newcastle are going to give me some help .thanks for reply mik

hi pete wot area u from sounds like u need1. a bit of northan hospitality.newcastle is one of the best areas of uk to live but i am biest being a geordie.hope to meet up with you sometime and play some banjo, tomorrow i play at boomer in northumberland for a fund raiser for there lifeboat its there open day and i hope to bring in a few extra quuid . monday iplay for glendale show in woller same old thing1 just like to be playing out n abought wots going on in your area .let me know i might be passing one day mik

Hi Mik. And thanks Chris for finding that clip. I agree with Chris about the playing - Bloody good. Our techno dude is quite good too , but dont tell him I said so. We live in Kent, or south London depending which map you look at. There is a lot going on, but it's bloody hard to find as everyone down here is very shy or something, maybe too mean to advertise? I bet they love you getting on the bus with that overgrown uke! Enjoy what you do, and please share it with us if possible. Pete

brian ,sound post 10 inch set of strings 135 pounds and its a bugger on the bus! but i love it .its verry easy to play i only needed 3 lessons. to get the basics ,still my banjo takes 1st place but i must try and do more practice thanks for reply mik.
