I know my updating/ progress has been slow but I have been playing and practicing my claw hammer/frailing strum on my Banjo more recently. But anyway I have taken the plywood sides out of the mould. I have also cut the back and front sides of the uke and added a hole in the front side for the sound hole. ;D

It's coming along nicely Sam, good work. Are you buying a pre slotted fret board or are you gonna have a go at cutting them yourself?

I was going to try to make everything myself but I might end up buying one.

Sorry Sam I forget to say that there is a superb college that runs courses in luthiery. It is in Morden Surrey. Dunno where you are located , but if its too far away they would probablly be helpful with advice. Nice to see some hands on where it counts. Keep it up. Best wishes Pete

I finally got round to doing some more bits to my ukulele (sorry to keep you waiting) As you can see from the photo I have made and stuck braces on the inside of the front and back of the ukulele and I have stuck the side and back parts together. I have also started work on the neck but no photos as of yet. BanjoSam

Nice to see some progress Sam. Don't rush anything ,just try to get it right. Keep up the good work and give us a listen when you are happy with the results. Pete
