If its of interest to anyone I have just come across banjohut website which has a plethora (in other words a lot!) of banjos on view. If your looking to while away a few minutes there are examples of all those banjers that american players keep recommending but we hardly ever see in UK.
Quite a few have small videos of them being played and its interesting to contrast the different voices .
to my ears it is not always those flashy $$$$$ models that sound best
