Next session at the Black Bull in Blaydon booked for 7.30 on 5th January 2008. All abilities are welcome. We should get the chance to play some of the songs from the Sheffield retreat. Hope to see you there. Merry Christmas. Mark.
PS - as usual if anyone needs a lift on the night from Newcastle Central Station just let me know.

Hey Guys, Been in an internet black hole as we have moved house and are waiting for BT to turn on the T'internet. It was great playing with all you guys in Sheffield and sadly will probably be missing this months Blaydon Jam as I am waiting for a kid to pop out. If he(?) takes after me he will probably be late! Have Fun, -pays0n

It was good to meet up with you in Sheffield, Payson. Good luck with the expected new arrival. I hope to catch up again with you and play some more.

My best wishes too Payson. Let us know when you have some news. Just a quick reminder about the session in Blaydon on Monday. We're expecting a couple of new faces which is great. Everyone is welcome. You can always come along and listen if you aren't sure. I watched "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" (again) over Christmas. What a great film. Anyway it has inspired me to learn a couple of songs from the soundtrack so I'll hopefully have some song sheets for us all to have a go on Monday. I've had a go at "Oh Come Angel Band" and "You are my Sunshine". Links to the songs on youtube below with Angel Band by the Peasall Sisters and You are my sunshine from the film: www.youtube.com/watch?v=CAYVa1cKC8k&feature=relatedwww.youtube.com/watch?v=dkNbMZhEGEwAngel Band should be good as it's in 3/4 time. No surprise I'm doing both songs in G. See you on Monday.
