Hi - being new to the banjo I've been trawling through YouTube in search of useful bits 'n' bobs. Patrick's lessons aside, I'd be interested if anyone has found anything worth sharing that they've found useful. Below is a link to a clawhammer version of Cripple Creek which helped me, check out the great accent too!! uk.youtube.com/watch?v=ozNjHoml9oENeil.

uk.youtube.com/watch?v=yXV4nt1Psck&feat here is another Excellent, I always wondered if I was doing the frail correctly, I am a floating thumb frailer! New to this site, love frailing the blues and been playing banjo 2 yrs 1 yr bluegrass, didn't like it too mechanical, then saw Pat on utube, and tried frailing, picked it up quickly and taught a friend, I have a resonator and open back, prefer open back for indoor frailing, and resonator for when jamming with friends... any frailing banjo players near Hereford???
