Thanks mate. The guitar sounded better than I thought it would. It's all down to the mic Wolfgang sent me.
It's a sony clip on the tie kinda thing (I had it clipped to my guitars soundhole)
If you're interested I can look up the name and model no tomorrow. I THINK it's worth about £30

Seriously (and not directly related to your NRT) - I think we all have high expectations of our 'domestic' hardware when it comes to recording. I tried to record something (for the first time ever) on a phone the other week and that was a joke from every angle. Plus look at Danny's recent webcam woes.
