Hi, sorry I'm late ,my guess is POT- Deep 12" 3-ply maple pot with a brass tone ring and dual coordinator rods. NECK- One-piece maple neck with rosewood fretboard. probably the S-4 neck is "semi-fretless" - the first four frets being flush with the fingerboard with standard frets starting at the fifth fret. am I close well? Am I? , Am I? ;-) I'll take a wild guess at some of the missing details nobody has mentioned yet: I'm almost certain that the S4 will have steel, gut or nylon strings attached to some kind of tuning mechanism. The pot assembly will incorporate a tightly stretched mylar or skin head from which it will emit sound waves. The pot and neck material will have a high lignin content. It will be bought mostly by people whose star sign is gemini and will look and sound pretty cool. You wait and see.

I'm also gemini. Not that I give any credence to such things, but is there a connection here?

Maybe I should rename this forum from UK Folkies to UK Gemini's

Bet the S4 price is astronomical!
(yes I know the difference - it's a joke! Don't write in...)

I think the S4 could be the one for me. It will be interesting to see how it turns out and what sort of price we will be looking at.
