Hi Guys and Gal(s), I just happened upon a young fellow who has posted some clawhammer instuctional vids on youtube (and BHO). He does that 'hillbelly' type of frailing rather than the 'folk' type ( with Galax licks and phantom pull-offs amongst the various techniques). His name is Tom Collins and his youtube username is Fretlessfury. Check him out if you've got your frailing strum solid. He slows stuff down and explains it well. Cheers!

He seems a very good teacher indeed, (and very easy on the eye - not that you blokes would appreciate that, of course!), but I have enough trouble with basic frailing let alone doing whatever it was he said to do! The more I try and play the banjo, the more I love my guitar! :-(

Hehe
I know what you mean sooze, last week i was playing banjo when we had a power cut. I didn't lose my count and kept frailing, only then did i realise i was getting somewhere with it.
The one chop two chop rythmn makes me swear - too many years playing bass runs on guitar ;D

Actually, Yannis, Tom Collins isn't half the player or teacher that you are.

OK Patrick, NOW I believe that you're mostly deaf. However, there's nothing you can say that will convince me you didn't finish off the raki before dropping THAT comment! Dead sweet of you, though. Thanks!!

What I said wasn't a compliment. It was a fact.
