The Lads in Ashington use one of those spring steel paper clips. The ones that held paper onto technical drawing boards in the pre-auto-cad days. They are thin enough to not hinder the fingers gliding. I think they shape the hint end to the back of the neck.

Suck it up and tune it higher when you have a capo on. The fifth string is the easiest to tune in my opinion. Once you have the other four strings where you want them, turn off your tuner, grab the first string at the "fifth" fret (where "fifth" might mean seventh or tenth or whatever, depending on where the capo is), and tighten up the fifth string to match.

You run the risk of a string break that way tho

as 'thefringthing' states, your 5th string will 'easily' tune up one whole step without any risk of breakage and should tune a little higher.
That said I use a spike on the 7th. I have used suspender capos, bic pen lids, eagle claws etc but IMHO nothing beats a spike and they are a doddle to install (a tiny drill bit worked between your fingers, a small dab of super glue and tap the spike in place with a small block of wood, just ensure it rests lower than the fret and you are good to go!), I doubt you would need more than one anyways.

I am looking out for a Pulse CBD Review as I am pretty zealous to take on a couple of brand-new CBD brands on my on-line CBD store(https://cbdoileco.com). I managed to find several very good reviews on greatlifecbd.com but it is not quite what I am looking for. If anyone is interested in partnering up with me on launching a brand new CBD online company in the UK, please let me know. Thanks
