Hello everyone, I thought I would jump in here and say hello. Its probably the wrong place to do that but I hope you will forgive that. I bought a Tanglewood five string a year or so ago and I have been following Patrick Costello's videos on youtube and various other sites, and just found the link to this forum. I don't know how much I can contribute as I am really still at a very basic stage. But I have a new found enthusiasm and intend to stick at it. I'm off to read your posts now and see what Ive let myself in for!! Best wishes all, Andrew

Hi Andrew, welcome aboard.
Sorry I had to move your post, but I've gotta keep this thing in some semblance or order.
Feel free to look around and get stuck in
Danny

Hi Andrew welcome to UK-folkies, this site probably exists because of Patrick, you can say we are all mostly his apprentices, so dont be shy we are all learners and probably always will be. Thanks to Danny who manages to keep the thing rolling along, we are steadily gaining more members. Dont be frightened to post any topic however trivial you think it may be. Regards Colin ps wouldnt mind a go with a fretless banjo.
