Basically it's a private lesson from PC, mine cost me about £5.05p or their abouts (including post) It's well worth the price of entry.

is it suplimental to or directly related to the H&T Danny? Erm both really. He goes through the basic frailing strum and some of the more basic songs and stuff. It's well worth it for a fiver.

I've got to be honest, I still work from the CC Online Books (although I much prefer hard copy). I must stick my hand in my pocket and order a copy of H&T but it's gonna have to wait till after the festive period.

My CD arrived this week. Damn it's good! After Patrick came over here, I kind of realised that I needed to scrap everything and start again (in a positive way - no dark days of banjo hatred ). So I did and then made no progress whatsoever! The CD sort of put me back on track and to be honest it kind of mellows me out as well. All for around a fiver? Bargain mate.

Hi All, I recently tried to order the How and Tao Cd from PickWare but the link was dead, I ordered some other stuff and emailed Patrick. He answered one of my questions in a video workshop but did not answer ase to why the H&T cd wasn't available. I am trying hard to crack the basics at present and in particular would like to inflict misery on the world by singing along to my terrible banjo playing! I am finding that hearing something makes all the difference to being able to know what I am aiming to achieve. I suspect this cd might give me some clues e.g. Red River Valley as simply presented in H&T. Can anyone supply a copy? I would happily send Patrick some dollars.
Bill

I know what you mean Bill - I can only play stuff once the tune is in my head. I always look for a few midi's and mp3's to listen to even if they aren't exactly the same. I don't think playing the tab note for note is that important, as long as you play what's recognizably the tune - you end up changing it anyway 'cos you get bored playing the same way and end up faffing around.

Just checked on the Pick Ware website and How & Tao cd is now available again so have ordered one. Shame about the postal charges, but problem hopefully solved. Bill

Is there anywhere I can get this in the UK, or is it a case of ordering it from the states?I would also like to get the books as well.
