Yes, he has, and I like to hear Julian Bream playing, too. They are both very good. Actually, I forgot, I have an electronic keyboard too, as I was going to use it on the 'Grand Piano' setting and learn to play piano - but I have such trouble getting my left hand to do something different to the right hand......... it's the same with the guitar and banjo really! I think my hands are dyslexic! I love music but sometimes it just doesn't like me! (Is this where I admit I also have a descant and a treble recorder from my school days hidden away upstairs?!) Didnt he start classical guitar at 44? Im sure it was him...

Danny - Absolutely! I just didn't have room for a piano or I would have had one of those instead. Probably just as well I didn't though seeing as I didn't make any headway with it!
Sorry, gonna have to say goodnight, sleep tight, now, as it is midnight and I have to sort the cats out before I toddle off to bed. TTFN.
Sooze.

The banjo is the only instrument you can play badly and it still makes you smile. Do you choose the banjo, or does the banjo choose you? . . .(add sound of maniacal laughter).

I use it to embarrass my daughter when she brings her friends around, I love to watch her street cred plummet, especially when I play cripple creek and ask her if she wants to do her dance. This is getting my own back from when she pretended she wasn't with me when we bumped into some of her mates in ASDA. ;D Colin

Howdy
I've played guitar, on and off, for 20 years. I took up the banjo because it's a different voice in a sea of guitar players. Am now playing/jamming in a duo with a guitar player with a view to getting out there and playing in public more (have done it 5 times solo). Two different instruments sounds al lot better even if the standard of my banjo playing is way lower than my guitar. It's certainly teaching me a lot about rythmn.
Am getting alot of stick from my 'cool' guitar playing mates tho - but as they say "if you aint being critiicised by some one, you aint doing enough with your life" ;D
